The Models 8401 and 8402 Piezoelectric Accelerometers are completely self-contained vibration measuring systems having a built-in amplifier within the housing. The units are offered in a range of sensitivities and designed for the measurement of low to medium level broadband frequency vibrations.

These accelerometers incorporate a hybrid electronic assembly within a rugged, welded stainless steel body to enhance its operation in humid and dirty environments. Low impedance output of 100 ohms or less allows operation directly into standard readout equipment without auxiliary signal conditioning, and is capable of driving up to 500 feet of shielded cable.
