Dynamic Pressure Sensors contain low pressure measurements, high pressure tranient measurements. Dynamic Pressure Sensors can measure a wide range of varying high intensity sound pressure and high level dynamic pressure events.

Dynamic Pressure Microphone


Designed to measure a wide range of varying high intensity sound pressure levels from 110 dB to 190 dB. Incorporating a unique "opposing" seismic system design, the unit is effectively insensitive to external vibration environments.

Dynamic High Pressure Sensors

Columbia's line of Dynamic Pressure Sensors can also serve as Acoustic Sensors (Microphones). They are designed to measure fast pressure variations, surges and dynamic blasts. The Sensors vary from low cost, small size, and lighweight to High Pressure (to 10,000psi) units, with all-welded contructions for extreme ruggedness, making them excellent choices for a wide range of applications.

High Intensity Acoustic Sensors

Columbia's High Intensity Acoustic Sensors are designed for the measurement of gas-borne sound in industrial applications. They are constructed of type 316 SS for use in corrosive environments. These sensors offer a variety of connector and mounting options, all of them when combined with the all welded construction provide a true hermetic seal.
